Use restrictions with Section 18 labels
Section 18 of the Federal Insecticide Fungicide & Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) authorizes states to register pesticides in emergency situations to control the introduction or spread of a new pest. The attached Section 18 labels have been authorized by EPA for use in Iowa to control or prevent the spread of soybean rust. The applicator is responsible for complying with all instructions on the Section 18 label together with the label accompanying the product. The Section 18 label instructions always take precedence over the label accompanying the product. Both labels must be in the applicator’s possession at time of application. All Section 18 labels carry specific expiration dates.
