The Senior FMNP (SFMNP) is a Congressionally-authorized program administered by the Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship in cooperation with the Department of Elder Affairs and the Area Agencies on Aging. A senior must meet age and income requirements and complete an application to receive SFMNP benefits. Benefits are distributed by the Area Agencies on Aging June 1 through August 31 on a first-come-first served basis. The SFMNP is governed by the WIC/Senior FMNP Administrative Rules, Chapter 50
